It is about Danny Gunn learning sorcery which is a hard task, especially while trying to help your dorky werewolf friend and his mage wife watch their 5-year-old daughter, deal with a sociopathic vampire, keep your job as a history teacher, and make sure your don't run out of cigerettes. Danny manages though,....just barely.
